Are you taking full advantage of the luxurious kitchen space in your apartments near Spring? We’ve provided our residents with upscale kitchens that are equipped with modern appliances, but it’s up to you to turn your kitchen in a space that’s both comfortable and convenient. In the blog post below, we’ll be helping you develop the skills you need to make better meals every night in your Spring apartment!

Whether you’re used to cooking for yourself every night or you’re trying to break a habit of ordering from a delivery app like Uber Eats or Postmates, we think you’ll appreciate some of the tips in the blog post below. We’ll be sharing some simple cooking tips that you can use to get more flavor out of the meals that you’re used to making.

Without further delay, let’s dive right into this week’s blog post! Oh, and when you’re done reading through it, please be sure to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at your favorite community of apartments in Spring!

Sprinkle salt on your fresh herbs

If you’re not using fresh herbs when you cook, grab some next time you’re at the grocery store. When you’re chopping them up at home, you’ll probably find that they’re difficult to chop. That is, unless you sprinkle some salt on them to weigh them down!

Always heat up the pan before putting food on it

You should never put food in a cold pan. By putting food in a pan that’s already hot, you can create that caramelization on the outside of your food. You’ll sear the outside, lock-in the flavor, and get that extra crunch that makes most meals that much better.

Add acids to everything

While most people remember to add salt to their dishes, very few people remember to add an acid to accompany that salt. When we say acids, we’re talking about lemon juice and lemon juice. Keep some handy in your fridge, and remember to squirt some on your pan next time you’re cooking. You want to put enough on to make a difference, but not so much that all your food starts tasting like lemons and limes.
