When was the last time you woke up feeling totally refreshed in your apartments in Spring? We hope that you woke up feeling that way today, but if not, we’re here to help. In the blog post below, we’ll be sharing some habits that are used by people who prioritize sleep. These are tried and true methods of getting a better night’s sleep every night, and we hope they work for you as well as they’ve worked for us!
The thing about sleep is that everything you do throughout the day has an affect on your sleep schedule. Your diet and exercise regimen matter just as much as the time that you decide to go to bed. We’ll talk about those aspects of sleep and more in the blog post below!
Let’s get right to it, shall we? When you’re done reading through the list, please feel free to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at Rise Spring Cypress — the new apartments Spring, TX residents choose for luxury living.
Embrace the cold shower
Aside from taking a sleeping pill, nothing will help you fall asleep faster than taking a cold shower right before bed. Your body needs to cool down before it can fall asleep, and a cold shower can speed up that process. It’ll be a shock to the system at first but you’ll notice the very real effects once you hop into bed.
Although night time is often the only time people have time for exercise, it’s also the worst time of day to go to the gym. At least, it is if you enjoy being able to fall asleep at a reasonable time. That’s because exercise heats our bodies up, and we have to cool down before we can fall asleep. If you can manage to wake up early enough, going to the gym in the morning will help you avoid this issue altogether. We recommend brewing a pot of coffee the night before and wearing your gym clothes to bed to speed up the morning workout process.
Rethink your blanket situation
Like the first two tips, this next tip is all about keeping your body cool. While you might be tempted to get the thickest blankets you can buy, those kinds of blankets won’t help you fall asleep any faster. Grab a lighter blanket instead and see if you don’t fall asleep faster. You live in Texas after all, and there’s no reason to make yourself hot if you don’t have to be.
